On Wednesday, September 3, the Maritime Cluster – a collaboration between the Province of Noord-Holland, the Municipality of Den Helder, and Defence – received an opinion from the Boatex residents’ collective. This opinion expresses concerns about the intention to build a Ravelijnbrug. We appreciate the signal and take this input seriously. We are providing an initial response, pending a substantive reply.

Importance of participation
We attach great importance to participation. Especially in a complex area development such as the Maritime Cluster, it is important that residents, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders can actively contribute ideas. Support, local knowledge, and involvement are indispensable for a careful process and sound decision-making.
