On Monday evening, October 27, 2025, the informative evening about the Maritime Cluster took place in the town hall of Den Helder. During this meeting, council and committee members and stakeholders received an explanation of the state of affairs of the various projects in the port of Den Helder.
Program
The program consisted of an introduction to the Maritime Cluster, an explanation of the current progress, and presentations on the following topics:
- Preliminary design route Nieuwe Diep/Nieuwe Werk (NDNW)
- Willemsoord Navigation Route
- Spatial development framework Buitenveld
- Planning procedure: Scope and Level of Detail Memorandum
During the evening, various speakers from the municipality, Defense, and the program team spoke about the sub-projects within the Maritime Cluster.
